Forsa Energy has acquired the 59.3 MWp Wormald Green Solar Farm, a ready-to-build project in North Yorkshire developed by Harmony Energy. Financial close and construction start are targeted for Q4 2026, with commercial operations expected in Q4 2027. This marks Forsa Energy's first solar project and its first ready-to-build acquisition.
Alight has acquired a portfolio of 40 large-scale solar development projects totalling approximately 2 GW from Soltech Energy Solutions in southern Sweden (SE3 and SE4). Most sites include battery storage options. The acquisition brings Alight's Nordic solar and storage pipeline to over 5 GW. Transaction approved by Sweden's ISP.
Exus Renewables North America has acquired four large-scale solar projects totalling approximately 715 MW from ibV Energy Partners in Wisconsin and Louisiana — Maple Grove Solar 1 & 2 (310 MW), Bayou Teche Solar (125 MW) and Bayou Chicot Solar (280 MW). Exus is in talks with data centre hyperscalers and utilities for offtake agreements, expected within four to six weeks.
Octopus Energy Generation has acquired three operational solar farms in Ireland totalling 43 MW — two in County Kildare and one in County Cork — through its Sky Fund (ORI SCSp). The acquisition brings Octopus's Irish renewable energy portfolio to over 300 MW across nine sites, generating enough green electricity for over 82,000 Irish homes annually.
RP Global has acquired the fully permitted 22 MWp A6 Leiningerland solar PV project from GAIA, located along the A6 motorway in the Leiningerland area of Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. The three-site, 17.9-hectare project qualifies for EEG remuneration and is planned to begin construction in early 2027. RP Global also plans to add battery storage to the project.
Elgin has completed the acquisition of the approximately 200 MW Blackhall Solar Farm in County Meath, Ireland from GP Joule. The late-stage, consented solar project has grid connection arrangements in place and is expected to participate in Ireland's upcoming RESS auction. Elgin plans to invest approximately €200 million in the project's development and construction.
Thailand's EGCO Group has closed the acquisition of a 49% stake in the Pinnacle IV portfolio, comprising the 222 MW Comanche Wind Farm in Oklahoma and the 117 MW Cactus Flats II Solar Plant in Texas, for a total transaction value of approximately THB 5,861 million. Both assets are operational and backed by long-term PPAs with investment-grade utilities.
Energiequelle GmbH has sold its French subsidiary Energiequelle SAS to French renewable energy developer H2air. The transaction includes all employees and a wind and solar portfolio of approximately 500 MW, comprising 60 MW of operational assets and a significant advanced-development pipeline. Energiequelle SAS has developed over 27 wind and solar parks in France since 2010, totalling 266 MW.
Ashmore Colombia and Patria Investments have agreed to sell 100% of Parque Solar Puerta de Oro, Colombia's largest solar PV asset at 360 MWp (300 MWac), to ISAGEN. Located in Guaduas, Cundinamarca, the fully operational plant covers 530 hectares and supplies power to over 390,000 households. Transaction closing is subject to regulatory approvals.
Kelag International has acquired eight agrivoltaic solar PV projects in Italy totalling approximately 64.4 MWp from JUWI, primarily located in Lombardy and Emilia-Romagna. Seven projects are ready-to-build and one is in advanced development. The portfolio, named Eridano, is expected to generate approximately 107 GWh annually and will be developed, constructed and operated by Kelag International.
Gülermak Renewables has completed the acquisition of the 69 MW ready-to-build Powidz 2 solar PV project in the Greater Poland region, adjacent to its existing 5 MW Powidz 1 scheme. EPC tender is opening soon with construction planned for Q4 2027 and first power expected in 2029. The acquisition brings Gülermak's European solar portfolio beyond 400 MW.
Anza Power has acquired two consented, construction-ready solar farms in New Zealand from Helios Energy Limited: Karioi (110 MWac) in the Ruapehu region and Ongaonga (95 MWac) in Hawke's Bay, totalling 205 MWac. The combined projects are expected to generate approximately 411,400 MWh annually, powering around 58,000 New Zealand homes.
NOVVA Group has signed a binding framework agreement in Paris to acquire a 3.17 GW renewable energy portfolio of wind and solar projects in Argentina from German developer ABO Energy. The deal builds on a prior collaboration between the two companies covering three Colombian solar projects, and significantly expands NOVVA's Latin America renewable energy platform for AI infrastructure.
METLEN has signed an agreement with Copec Flux S.p.A. for the sale of the Tamarico II hybrid project in Chile's Atacama Region, comprising a 165 MW solar PV plant and a 725 MWh BESS (extendable to 925 MWh). The transaction is part of METLEN's Asset Rotation model and further strengthens the companies' three-year partnership in Chilean renewable energy.
Qair Deutschland has acquired the 19.63 MWp Solarpark Aurachtal in Erlangen-Höchstadt, Bavaria from Friedrich Brehm GmbH & Co. KG. The ready-to-build project is expected to generate approximately 22,000 MWh annually, with construction planned for Q4 2027 and grid connection in Q1 2028. A co-located BESS of up to 20 MWh is also being planned.

Qualitas Energy has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Cero Generation's core European platform from Macquarie Group through Qualitas Energy Fund VI. The 5.8 GW portfolio spans the UK, Italy and Spain, comprising over 2 GW in operation, under construction or at ready-to-build stage and 3.8 GW in development. Cero Generation will continue to operate as an independent Qualitas Energy portfolio company.
Sturdee Energy has acquired the 200 MW Masaiti Wind Project in Mpongwe District, Copperbelt Province, Zambia from Upepo Energy, marking its first entry into the Zambian market. The late-stage development project will connect to ZESCO's 330 kV grid and is planned to be supplemented with solar PV and BESS to deliver 24-hour renewable energy. Sturdee will take full ownership at the start of construction.
Eolus has signed an agreement to sell a mid-stage solar PV and battery energy storage project in the United States to an undisclosed American renewable energy developer and operator. Total expected revenues are up to USD 6.5 million, with USD 2.0 million received at signing and up to USD 4.5 million payable on project milestones.
CVC DIF has completed the acquisition of the Gabriela project, a 272 MW solar PV and 1,100 MWh BESS hybrid energy project in Northern Chile from Grenergy. The transaction, first announced in September 2025, closed upon the project reaching its Commercial Operation Date. The project is backed by a 15-year, USD-denominated, inflation-indexed hybrid PPA.
Westbridge Renewable Energy has signed a definitive agreement to sell the Red Willow solar-plus-storage project (up to 225 MWac solar + 100 MW BESS) in Stettler County, Alberta, Canada for total consideration of up to CAD $26.725 million. The project holds AUC approval and an AESO interconnection position. Transaction is subject to regulatory approval.
Sol Systems has acquired the 200 MWac Lumberton Solar Project in Hardin County, Texas from DESRI. The utility-scale project is backed by a long-term PPA and marks Sol Systems' second project acquisition of 2026, advancing its IPP strategy of building, owning and operating clean energy infrastructure across the United States.
PowerBank Corporation has reacquired the Highway 28 (6.9 MW) and Gainesville (7 MW) community solar projects in New York State through its subsidiary Abundant Solar Power Inc. for a combined purchase price of approximately USD 2.4 million. The projects have a combined construction value of USD 32.5 million and expected US federal tax credits of USD 13 million, with construction readiness targeted for 2026 and 2027 respectively.
Nofar Israel has signed an agreement to acquire a 92.5% stake in Highlight Renewable Energies for approximately 200 million NIS. The acquisition adds an estimated 850 MW of solar PV and 4.4 GWh of energy storage capacity across projects at various development stages, accelerating Nofar's position as a leading large-scale renewable energy platform in Israel.
Funds managed by Triple Point have acquired the 49.2 MW Hessay Solar project in York from Recurrent Energy (Canadian Solar). The project is under construction with grid connection targeted for H2 2027 and is backed by a 15-year inflation-indexed CfD secured in the UK's Sixth Allocation Round (AR6). It will generate enough electricity to power approximately 14,100 homes annually.
Berliner Stadtwerke has acquired a 50% stake (35 MW) in the 70 MW Petershagen solar park in Zeschdorf, Brandenburg, Germany from naturstrom Group. The park has been operational since 2025, generates approximately 73 million kWh annually and is naturstrom's largest ground-mounted PV project. Both partners plan to jointly install battery storage on site.
