Financial close and construction start are targeted for Q4 2026, with commercial operations expected in Q4 2027. This marks Forsa Energy's first solar project and its first ready-to-build acquisition.

Qualitas Energy has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Cero Generation's core European platform from Macquarie Group through Qualitas Energy Fund VI. The 5.8 GW portfolio spans the UK, Italy and Spain, comprising over 2 GW in operation, under construction or at ready-to-build stage and 3.8 GW in development. Cero Generation will continue to operate as an independent Qualitas Energy portfolio company.
Funds managed by Triple Point have acquired the 49.2 MW Hessay Solar project in York from Recurrent Energy (Canadian Solar). The project is under construction with grid connection targeted for H2 2027 and is backed by a 15-year inflation-indexed CfD secured in the UK's Sixth Allocation Round (AR6). It will generate enough electricity to power approximately 14,100 homes annually.

Shell has signed a Sale and Purchase Agreement to sell its European onshore renewables portfolio to TotalEnergies. The portfolio comprises approximately 0.5 GW of renewable generation capacity in operation and under development across Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and the UK, plus a development pipeline. The transaction is expected to complete by end of 2026.
Drax Group plc has completed the £548 million all-cash acquisition of Bluefield Solar Income Fund Limited (BSIF), adding 0.9 GW of operating and under-construction solar and wind assets to its portfolio for the first time, alongside a 2.9 GW gross development pipeline. The deal was announced on 1 June 2026 and completed on 31 July 2026 following shareholder and court approval.
egg Power, Liberty Global's clean energy business, has acquired the 72 MW Pilmoor Solar Farm in North Yorkshire from PS Renewables, its fifth and largest solar acquisition to date. The construction-ready project is backed by a 20-year offtake agreement and is expected to be operational in Q4 2027, bringing egg Power's total portfolio to 304 MW.
Innagreen Investments has completed the acquisition of the consented 49.9 MW Longhedge solar farm in Nottinghamshire, England from RES. Expected to power around 15,000 homes annually, the project includes biodiversity net gain measures such as new hedgerows and public bridleways. This marks Innagreen's fourth collaboration with RES, following January's acquisition of the Dunbeg South Wind Farm.
Gülermak Renewables has acquired a 19.3 MWp ready-to-build solar PV project in Steyning, near Worthing, West Sussex from Cero Generation. The Gate 2 compliant project is pending grid connection offer confirmation from NESO and is expected to connect in Q2 2028, with EPC tender planned for early 2027.
Fuse Energy has acquired the fully consented 20 MW Cwm Ifor solar PV project near Caerphilly, South Wales from Caerphilly County Borough Council. The plant is scheduled to begin commercial operations in December 2026 and will generate enough electricity to power approximately 6,000 homes annually. Savills Earth Capital Advisory acted as vendor's advisor.
The L&G NTR Clean Power (Europe) Fund III has acquired the Fair Oaks Renewable Energy Park in Nottinghamshire, England from Ridge Clean Energy. The ready-to-build project comprises 75.4 MWp of solar PV and a 49.9 MW / 99.8 MWh BESS, backed by a CfD. Construction is expected to begin in 2026 with commercial operations targeted for early 2028.
Capital Dynamics has acquired the 63 MWp Fleet Solar Farm in Hampshire, UK from BayWa r.e. The project secured a CfD contract in Allocation Round 7 (AR7) and is expected to begin construction in 2027 with commercial operation targeted for 2028. This marks the third UK solar project transaction between the two companies.
NextEnergy Solar Fund (NESF) has completed the sale of a 100 MW operational UK solar portfolio to Atrato Onsite Energy for £46.2 million, comprising the 50 MW Grange project in Nottingham and the 50 MW South Lowfield project in Yorkshire. The transaction completes NESF's four-phase Capital Recycling Programme, which divested 245 MW of UK solar assets generating approximately £119 million in total proceeds.
Downing has completed the acquisition of the Higher Witheven Solar project, a 42.5 MW ready-to-build solar PV development in Launceston, Cornwall, UK. Grid connection and project completion are expected in Q4 2027. The project features biodiversity enhancements and a landscape-led design, further expanding Downing's UK ready-to-build solar portfolio.
Ampyr Solar Europe has acquired the East Yorkshire Solar Farm (EYSF), a 530+ MWp solar PV project from BOOM Power Ltd. Located near the Drax power station substation, the project holds a Development Consent Order (DCO) granted in May 2025 and is one of the largest consented solar projects in the UK. Construction and energisation are planned for 2029, with the project expected to power around 100,000 homes.

Ørsted has signed an agreement with Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners to divest its entire European onshore renewables business for EUR 1.44 billion. The transaction covers onshore wind, solar PV and battery storage assets across Ireland, the UK, Germany and Spain, with closing expected in Q2 2026.
egg Power, Liberty Global’s clean energy investment platform, has acquired the 70 MW Grange solar farm project in Suffolk from PS Renewables. Construction is set to begin in January 2026, with the project supplying clean power via corporate PPAs to Liberty Global’s UK operations.
Downing has acquired two fully consented, ready-to-build solar PV projects in Devon (~15 MWp) and Shropshire (~20 MWp), UK. Both projects benefit from 40-year land leases, 15-year Contracts-for-Difference (CfDs), and are scheduled to commission in 2027. Once operational, the combined ~35 MWp portfolio is expected to power approximately 12,000 homes and offset around 14,600 tonnes of CO₂ annually.
egg Group, through its egg Power holdings platform, has acquired the 50 MW Rag Lane solar farm in Gloucestershire from BayWa r.e. The ready-to-build UK solar project will begin construction in early 2025 and support Liberty Global’s power demand via corporate PPAs.
Anesco has acquired the 36 MWp Beachampton solar farm in Buckinghamshire from One Planet Developments. The ready-to-build UK solar project received planning consent in January 2024 and will deliver clean power for around 9,000 homes while achieving biodiversity net gains.
