Kelag International has acquired eight agrivoltaic solar PV projects in Italy totalling approximately 64.4 MWp from JUWI, primarily located in Lombardy and Emilia-Romagna. Seven projects are ready-to-build and one is in advanced development. The portfolio, named Eridano, is expected to generate approximately 107 GWh annually and will be developed, constructed and operated by Kelag International.

Qualitas Energy has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Cero Generation's core European platform from Macquarie Group through Qualitas Energy Fund VI. The 5.8 GW portfolio spans the UK, Italy and Spain, comprising over 2 GW in operation, under construction or at ready-to-build stage and 3.8 GW in development. Cero Generation will continue to operate as an independent Qualitas Energy portfolio company.
Elgin has completed the acquisition of Project San Martino, a 40.5 MWp agrivoltaic solar project co-located with a 20 MW BESS in Molise, Italy. The project will be co-developed with a local engineering firm through to Notice to Proceed and marks Elgin's fifth Italian acquisition.
European Energy has completed the sale of the 90 MW Cerano Energreen solar project in Brindisi, Puglia, Italy. The fully permitted, ready-to-build project holds secured grid connection and a 20-year FerX Contract for Difference. Expected to generate approximately 160,000 MWh annually, the project is located on industrialised land at the heart of Brindisi's energy transition.

Shell has signed a Sale and Purchase Agreement to sell its European onshore renewables portfolio to TotalEnergies. The portfolio comprises approximately 0.5 GW of renewable generation capacity in operation and under development across Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and the UK, plus a development pipeline. The transaction is expected to complete by end of 2026.
Sunprime has acquired 11 fully permitted, ready-to-build solar PV projects totalling approximately 100 MWp in Italy from Starlight, NextEnergy Group's development platform. The transaction is the first building block of Sunprime's Sophocles programme targeting 500 MWp by June 2027, financed by €507 million from EIB and Natixis. Part of the portfolio holds FER-X/CfD incentive contracts.
Altea Green Power has acquired a 16.75 MW operational photovoltaic plant in Montecchio Emilia, Reggio Emilia, Italy via the acquisition of 100% of SPV NB5 S.r.l. for approximately EUR 17 million. Operational since January 2024 and supported by a 20-year FER 1 feed-in tariff, the acquisition marks AGP's first direct asset purchase as part of its IPP strategy outlined in its 2024–2028 Business Plan.
EOS Investment Management and Capital Dynamics have completed the sale of a 194 MWp portfolio of six utility-scale solar PV plants in Lazio, Italy to Sonnedix, a global renewable energy company with 12 GW of total capacity. Five plants are fully operational and one is being connected to the grid. The portfolio was held through their joint venture EOS IM Capital Dynamics Green Energy S.à r.l. and benefits from long-term PPAs.
European Energy has completed the sale of its remaining stake in the 151 MW Mineo solar PV project in Sicily to Italian investment manager Sosteneo. The transaction concludes a phased partnership initiated in 2023 and follows the project reaching ready-to-build status and securing a CfD under Italy's FERX scheme in December 2025. Sosteneo assumes full ownership and will lead construction and operations.
Zenith Energy Ltd. has acquired Rieti-2, a 10 MWp agrivoltaic solar development project in the Lazio region of Italy, for EUR 1,020,000 payable upon achieving Ready-to-Build status. The acquisition brings Zenith's total Italian solar development pipeline to 173.5 MWp, secured in under 12 months, advancing towards its 2026 target of 200 MWp. The project is expected to generate 14–15 GWh of electricity annually once operational.
Zenith Energy Ltd. has acquired two agrivoltaic solar development projects of approximately 23 MWp and 5 MWp in the Piedmont region of Italy, along with land secured for a 5 MW BESS. The total consideration is EUR 2,016,000, payable upon achieving Ready-to-Build status by March 2028. The acquisitions bring Zenith's Italian solar pipeline to approximately 100 MWp in Piedmont and its total development pipeline to 163.5 MWp.

The project includes land secured for a 4 MW integrated BESS. The acquisition brings Zenith's total Italian solar development pipeline to approximately 135.5 MWp, advancing towards its target of 200 MWp by end of 2026.
Korkia's development joint venture Biko Renewable Energy has completed the sale of a 10.7 MW portfolio of fully permitted, ready-to-build solar PV assets in Lombardy, Northern Italy. The portfolio comprises three projects: Casnate (4.4 MW), Inveruno (3.5 MW), and Senna Comasco (2.8 MW), including ground-mounted and agri-PV installations. The transaction follows a previous solar asset sale in Italy announced in January 2026.
Comunità Energetiche SpA has sold the development rights for a 13.7 MWp photovoltaic portfolio in Puglia to a leading infrastructure fund. The portfolio includes three authorized solar projects in Carmiano, Collepasso and Lequile and supports COM E’s strategy to focus on energy communities and self-consumption solutions.
EDP Renováveis (EDPR) has signed an agreement to sell its 207 MWac operational solar portfolio in Italy to Encavis for an EV above €250M. The five-plant portfolio includes long-term PPAs, a 20-year CfD and potential for hybridisation.
