Exus Renewables North America has acquired four large-scale solar projects totalling approximately 715 MW from ibV Energy Partners in Wisconsin and Louisiana — Maple Grove Solar 1 & 2 (310 MW), Bayou Teche Solar (125 MW) and Bayou Chicot Solar (280 MW). Exus is in talks with data centre hyperscalers and utilities for offtake agreements, expected within four to six weeks.
Thailand's EGCO Group has closed the acquisition of a 49% stake in the Pinnacle IV portfolio, comprising the 222 MW Comanche Wind Farm in Oklahoma and the 117 MW Cactus Flats II Solar Plant in Texas, for a total transaction value of approximately THB 5,861 million. Both assets are operational and backed by long-term PPAs with investment-grade utilities.
Eolus has signed an agreement to sell a mid-stage solar PV and battery energy storage project in the United States to an undisclosed American renewable energy developer and operator. Total expected revenues are up to USD 6.5 million, with USD 2.0 million received at signing and up to USD 4.5 million payable on project milestones.
Sol Systems has acquired the 200 MWac Lumberton Solar Project in Hardin County, Texas from DESRI. The utility-scale project is backed by a long-term PPA and marks Sol Systems' second project acquisition of 2026, advancing its IPP strategy of building, owning and operating clean energy infrastructure across the United States.
PowerBank Corporation has reacquired the Highway 28 (6.9 MW) and Gainesville (7 MW) community solar projects in New York State through its subsidiary Abundant Solar Power Inc. for a combined purchase price of approximately USD 2.4 million. The projects have a combined construction value of USD 32.5 million and expected US federal tax credits of USD 13 million, with construction readiness targeted for 2026 and 2027 respectively.
Heelstone Renewable Energy, a Qualitas Energy company, has acquired Cypress Pointe Solar, a 188 MWp development-stage solar PV project in Sabine County, Texas from Azimuth Renewables. Located within the Southwest Power Pool market, the project has full site control and targets commercial operation in 2029, expanding Heelstone's US utility-scale renewable energy pipeline.
EDP Renováveis (EDPR) has agreed to sell an 80% common equity stake in a 384 MW solar and BESS portfolio in California to an Ares Infrastructure Equity fund for approximately USD 450 million. The portfolio comprises 200 MW of solar PV backed by a 20-year PPA and 184 MW of BESS supported by a 20-year capacity tolling agreement. EDPR retains a 20% stake.
Adapture Renewables has completed the sale of a 15-project, 68 MW operating distributed generation solar portfolio across seven US states to REC Power, owned by ArcLight Capital Partners. The 100% equity sale expands REC Power's national operating portfolio beyond 410 MW across 25 states, while allowing Adapture to focus on larger utility-scale solar and storage projects.
ClearGen Holdings has acquired a 19 MW portfolio of 10 operating commercial and industrial behind-the-meter solar projects across California, Colorado, Florida, Massachusetts and New Jersey from affiliates of Tortoise Capital Advisors. ClearGen will assume 100% ownership and asset management responsibilities for the portfolio, in line with its strategy as a long-term distributed energy infrastructure investor backed by CBRE Investment Management.
Apex Clean Energy has completed the sale of a 28 MWdc portfolio of four 7 MWdc community solar projects in Illinois to SolAmerica Energy. The projects span both Ameren and ComEd territories and are expected to begin commercial operations in 2027, delivering bill savings to residents and businesses through Illinois' community solar program.
Greening has announced the sale of a 2.1 MWp portfolio of two industrial rooftop solar projects in California and Virginia, USA to an undisclosed international energy investor. Both projects are permitted and ready to build, with commercial operations targeted for Q4 2026, backed by long-term on-site PPAs with a food packaging industrial group. Greening retains EPC execution via its US subsidiary Greensol.
38 Degrees North has acquired a 104 MW community solar portfolio of 16 advanced projects spanning 14 counties in Illinois from Cypress Creek. The projects are expected to be placed in service by 2027 and will deliver $1.6 million in annual subscriber bill savings. The deal extends a partnership between the two companies dating back to 2018.
Revolve Renewable Power Corp. has signed definitive agreements to acquire three utility-scale solar development projects totalling 125 MW in Illinois (Henry, 30 MW), New Mexico (Columbus, 56 MW) and Wisconsin (Endeavor, 39 MW). All projects have secured site control and will be advanced through permitting and interconnection milestones. The acquisition brings Revolve's total development portfolio to over 3,000 MW.
Qualitas Energy has acquired a 164 MWp development-stage solar PV project in Illinois, USA from Bechtel Enterprises, through Qualitas Energy Fund VI. Fully permitted with 100% site control, the project is located in the MISO market with NTP expected Q2 2028 and COD targeted Q3 2029. The project also offers potential for up to 64 MWac of co-located battery storage.
Standard Solar has acquired two community solar projects totalling approximately 8 MW in New York from EDF Power Solutions North America: the 3.9 MW Water Chestnut project in Allegany County and the 4 MW Hanoverian project in Monroe County. Both projects hold NYSERDA awards and are expected to be completed in early 2027, expanding Standard Solar's New York portfolio to over 90 MW.
OCI Energy and Arava Power have signed a Membership Interest Purchase Agreement (MIPA) for La Salle Solar, a 670 MWdc utility-scale solar project in La Salle County, Texas. Arava Power acquires a 50% stake, with both parties jointly financing, constructing and operating the project. Commercial operations are expected in 2028, with groundbreaking targeted before end of 2026.
I Squared Capital's Energy Transition Infrastructure Fund has acquired Oriden, a US-based renewable energy developer with a 5+ GW pipeline of solar PV and BESS projects in the MISO and PJM markets, from Mitsubishi Power Americas. I Squared plans to invest approximately $300 million to accelerate Oriden's evolution into a next-generation independent power producer headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Headwater Energy has completed the acquisition of Arena Renewables, a leading US distributed generation solar and battery energy storage developer with a pipeline of nearly 1 GW. Arena's leadership team will continue to operate the business, supported by Headwater's capital resources, construction financing and tax equity capabilities to accelerate development timelines.
Lydian Energy has acquired the Atlas North portfolio from Hanwha Renewables, comprising four late-stage solar and storage projects totalling more than 1,000 MW of solar and 450 MW / 1,800 MWh of BESS in California. Most capacity is contracted under long-term agreements with California load-serving entities. The deal is Lydian's largest to date, bringing its total portfolio to 4.4 GW across 18 projects.
Fengate Asset Management has acquired a 50% interest in a 227 MWac portfolio of 12 operating solar projects in the western United States, forming a 50/50 joint venture with Clearway Energy Inc. The investment is made through Fengate Infrastructure Yield Fund, including a participation by the LiUNA Pension Fund of Central and Eastern Canada, and represents Fengate's second renewables partnership with Clearway.
Standard Solar has acquired an eight-project, 48.4 MW community solar portfolio across New Mexico, developed by Pluma Construction with support from ForeFront Power. Among the first projects delivered under New Mexico's Community Solar Program, the portfolio is already partially operational and expected to generate over 103,000 MWh annually. Standard Solar will serve as long-term owner and operator, with Solstice managing subscriber acquisition.
Aspen Power has announced the acquisition of a community solar portfolio from Cipriani Energy Group spanning New York and Illinois, with a total capacity of just over 51 MWdc. The initial closing covers five projects totalling 19.9 MWdc in New York's North Country and Capital District, with construction expected soon. Six additional projects are expected to close later in 2026. The New York projects will participate in the state's VDER program.
Cypress Creek Renewables has acquired the Steel River project from Swift Current Energy, a 2.45 GW solar PV and 720 MW / 2.9 GWh BESS development in Mississippi County, Arkansas. One of the largest solar-plus-storage projects in the United States, Steel River will be built in three phases with total capital costs exceeding $4.5 billion, and all phases are expected to be in service by 2029. The acquisition doubles Cypress Creek's operating and under-construction portfolio to nearly 7 GW.
Standard Solar has acquired a six-project community solar portfolio totalling 28.8 MW from AC Power, sited on closed landfills and brownfield parcels in New Jersey and Illinois. The portfolio includes 6 MW across two New Jersey sites (Berlin and Freehold) and 22.8 MW across four Illinois sites. Projects are expected to reach completion between 2026 and 2027, supported by Standard Solar's 512 MW safe-harbor panel inventory.
Enel, through its subsidiaries Enel Green Power North America and EGPNA Project Holdco 2, has signed agreements to acquire an 830 MW portfolio of operational wind and solar plants in the United States from Excelsior Energy Capital for approximately $1 billion USD (€850 million). The deal is expected to generate around €125 million per year in additional EBITDA and will bring Enel's North American renewable capacity to approximately 13 GW. Closing is anticipated in Q3 2026.
