RP Global has acquired the fully permitted 22 MWp A6 Leiningerland solar PV project from GAIA, located along the A6 motorway in the Leiningerland area of Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. The three-site, 17.9-hectare project qualifies for EEG remuneration and is planned to begin construction in early 2027. RP Global also plans to add battery storage to the project.
Qair Deutschland has acquired the 19.63 MWp Solarpark Aurachtal in Erlangen-Höchstadt, Bavaria from Friedrich Brehm GmbH & Co. KG. The ready-to-build project is expected to generate approximately 22,000 MWh annually, with construction planned for Q4 2027 and grid connection in Q1 2028. A co-located BESS of up to 20 MWh is also being planned.
Berliner Stadtwerke has acquired a 50% stake (35 MW) in the 70 MW Petershagen solar park in Zeschdorf, Brandenburg, Germany from naturstrom Group. The park has been operational since 2025, generates approximately 73 million kWh annually and is naturstrom's largest ground-mounted PV project. Both partners plan to jointly install battery storage on site.
PARQ Energy GmbH has acquired a 56.6 MWp solar park project in Brandenburg, Germany. The Hamburg-based integrated renewable energy developer, founded in 2023, continues to expand its German solar portfolio, which now totals approximately 200 MW. Watson Farley & Williams advised PARQ energy on the transaction.
European solar and storage specialist greentech has sold a 27 MWp portfolio of three operational solar PV plants in Bavaria Großheirath I, Großheirath II and Untersiemau to STRABAG. The transaction also includes a co-located BESS development agreement for all three sites. greentech will continue as O&M provider and co-location developer.
Novar has acquired the 100 MWp Untermünkheim solar project in Baden-Württemberg, Germany from Stromernte GmbH. Spread across three locations on privileged infrastructure corridor land, the project also has potential for a co-located 160 MWh BESS. Stromernte will continue as development partner. This is Novar Germany GmbH's first M&A acquisition and the company's first project in southern Germany.
Green FOX Energy and joint venture partner ON Energy have sold a 3.5 MWp solar park in Beckum, Warendorf district, North Rhine-Westphalia, to regional energy supplier Energieversorgung Beckum (evb). The plant was connected to the grid in June 2025 and supplies electricity to more than 1,000 households.
RP Global has signed an agreement with Vattenfall to acquire two solar PV projects totalling approximately 15 MWp in Baden-Württemberg, Germany: the 7.1 MWp Schöntal project and the Widdern project. Both were developed by Vattenfall subsidiary Solizer at an advanced stage. Financial close has been reached for Schöntal, with Widdern expected to close shortly. Construction is targeted for Q2 2026 with commissioning of both sites before end of 2026.
The Energy Invest Mittelhessen 1 fund, managed by Union Investment and advised by Pacifico Energy Partners, has acquired the operational 24.4 MWp Solar Park Göhl in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. The plant has been operational since early 2025 and benefits from a revenue structure combining a pay-as-produced PPA with a municipal offtaker and an EEG feed-in premium. Pacifico will assume long-term operational management of the asset.
Trianel Energieprojekte has completed the sale of the 70.4 MWp Solar Park Brandenburg in Germany to Nuveen's European Core Renewable Infrastructure Strategy. The solar park, commissioned in April 2025 along the Berlin–Halle railway line, benefits from over 20 years of EEG remuneration. Closing took place in January 2026. Ørsted has signed an agreement with Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners to divest its entire European onshore renewables business for EUR 1.44 billion. The transaction covers onshore wind, solar PV and battery storage assets across Ireland, the UK, Germany and Spain, with closing expected in Q2 2026.
Green FOX Energy, together with ON Energy, has sold an 85 MWp PV co-location portfolio combining solar and battery storage assets across Germany to a German family office. The portfolio is partly operational and will be fully completed by Q3 2026, supporting over 20,000 households with clean energy.
Milvio Energy has completed the sale of a standalone battery energy storage project and a co-located PV/BESS project in Germany. The hybrid project comprises an 80.4 MWp solar plant and a 70.2 MW battery system and is expected to reach Ready-to-Build status in Q2 2026.
Visiolar has sold a 95 MWp Ready-to-Build solar project in Brandenburg to Sunovis, a Brookfield Renewable Partners platform. The transaction is one of the few large-scale, construction-ready PV deals in the current German market, with construction planned to start immediately.
