Qair Deutschland Acquires 19.63 MWp Ready-to-Build Solarpark Aurachtal in Erlangen-Höchstadt, Bavaria

Qair Deutschland has acquired the 19.63 MWp Solarpark Aurachtal in Erlangen-Höchstadt, Bavaria from Friedrich Brehm GmbH & Co. KG. The ready-to-build project is expected to generate approximately 22,000 MWh annually, with construction planned for Q4 2027 and grid connection in Q1 2028. A co-located BESS of up to 20 MWh is also being planned.

Technology details

19.63 MWp ground-mounted solar PV park on approximately 20 hectares (approx. 15 hectares module area). Expected annual generation of approximately 22,000 MWh, sufficient for approximately 7,300 households. Construction planned for Q4 2027, grid connection targeted for Q1 2028. Battery storage of up to 20 MWh planned as a co-located option, with grid connection already approved and land rights secured. Qair Deutschland Operations & Management GmbH will manage the asset for its full operational life.

Contract signed on 1 September 2026. Full 100% acquisition. Project has been developed to ready-to-build status by Friedrich Brehm GmbH & Co. KG. Baurecht in place; the project-related development plan 'Aurachtal-Reitäcker' was published on 20 November 2025. The facility is exempt from Bavarian building permit requirements. A citizen crowdfunding participation offer is planned for local residents. Qair operates a global portfolio of approximately 3 GW and a pipeline of approximately 30 GW across 20 countries.
