Technology details
157 MWp solar PV park with an 80 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS), totalling 177 MW. Located across more than 130 hectares in the municipalities of Elsterheide and Hoyerswerda. Second largest PV plant in Saxony. Revenue structure comprises: 120 MWp long-term PPA with a Tier-1 counterparty; BESS tolling agreement; Herkunftsnachweise (HKN) certificate sales; 40 MW under EEG remuneration. Additional information
ASE retains 51% and continues to operate and manage the assets. DEI acquires a 49% minority stake. Transaction is the foundation for a longer-term partnership under which ASE develops, commissions and manages projects while DEI invests as a long-term operational-phase partner. The project was originally planned as a 20 MWp solar installation and expanded in successive phases. Expected annual generation sufficient for approximately 51,400 households, avoiding approximately 56,700 tonnes of CO₂. ASE is backed by AGP Sustainable Real Assets (Singapore) and Hartree Partners (US).
