greentech Sells 27 MWp Solar Portfolio in Bavaria, Germany to STRABAG Including BESS Co-Development Agreement
European solar and storage specialist greentech has sold a 27 MWp portfolio of three operational solar PV plants in Bavaria Großheirath I, Großheirath II and Untersiemau to STRABAG. The transaction also includes a co-located BESS development agreement for all three sites. greentech will continue as O&M provider and co-location developer.

Technology details
Three operational solar PV plants: Großheirath I, Großheirath II and Untersiemau, with a combined capacity of approximately 27 MWp. In addition to the asset sale, a co-located BESS development agreement was signed for all three sites, with greentech to provide co-location project development services as a new third-party offering. greentech will also continue as technical O&M provider for the three solar parks.
Additional information
This is one of the first transactions under greentech's new co-location project development service for third parties, covering the full PV and BESS downstream value chain. STRABAG is one of Germany's and Europe's leading construction and infrastructure companies, targeting climate neutrality by 2040. The acquisition of the three Bavarian solar parks is part of STRABAG's long-term energy strategy.
