ABO Energy has completed the sale of the Ortenberg wind farm to Blue Elephant Energy GmbH. The project comprises three Enercon E175 turbines of 7 MW each, totalling 21 MW, with commissioning scheduled for December 2026.
ABO Energy has completed the sale of the Heimbach-Vlatten wind farm to Blue Elephant Energy GmbH. The repowering project comprises two Vestas V162 turbines (6 MW each, 12 MW total), replacing three older turbines and generating approximately 6.7 times more electricity. Commissioning is scheduled for December 2026.
Vattenfall has acquired the permitted 43 MW Dittelsheim-Heßloch wind project in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany from ABO Energy. Together with Vattenfall's adjacent Mettenheim project, the two wind parks will form a combined cluster of up to 70 MW sharing a common grid connection substation in the Rheinhessen region.
Perigus Energy Deutschland GmbH has acquired the project rights for the permitted Windpark Olpe-Rehringhausen (three 7 MW turbines, 21 MW total) from ABO Energy. Located in Kreis Olpe, North Rhine-Westphalia, the project received its construction and operation permit on 26 March 2026 and is approximately 3 km from Perigus Energy's Windpark Windfart development.
Eurowind Energy has acquired two BImSchG-permitted onshore wind projects in Germany totalling 86.7 MW: a seven-turbine wind farm (43.5 MW) in Saxony and a six-turbine wind farm (43.2 MW) in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Backed by Blackstone, Eurowind continues its German growth strategy amid challenging market conditions.
Sosteneo SGR, part of Generali Investments, has signed an agreement to acquire a majority stake in ENOVA Generation, a new platform comprising 11 onshore wind repowering projects totalling 350 MW in Germany, sold by ENOVA Value (Omnes Capital and ENOVA Power). Approximately 40% is operational and 60% is under construction or approaching FID. All projects are backed by 20-year EEG remuneration. The deal is the inaugural investment of Sosteneo's Fund II.
PNE AG has sold two onshore wind repowering projects in Germany — Wulfsdorf A (24.4 MW, Schleswig-Holstein) and Kuhstedt III (20.6 MW, Lower Saxony) — to a small group of private investors. Both projects are currently under construction and are expected to be commissioned by year-end 2026/early 2027. PNE subsidiary energy consult will retain operational management.
KGAL has acquired the 21 MW Windpark Teschendorf in Landkreis Gifhorn, Lower Saxony, Germany from developer Energiequelle, on behalf of an individual mandate from Software AG – Stiftung. The five-turbine Enercon E-138 wind farm was commissioned in autumn 2025 and benefits from a 20-year EEG 2023 feed-in tariff at over €70/MWh.
SOWITEC group GmbH has sold the 14.4 MW Windpark Creußen III repowering project in Landkreis Bayreuth, Bavaria, to Stadtwerke Stuttgart. Comprising two Vestas V172 turbines, the project holds an EEG auction award and immission control permit. SOWITEC retains responsibility for turnkey realisation until commissioning, planned for December 2027.
Ardian's Clean Energy Evergreen Fund (ACEEF) has completed its first investment in Germany with the acquisition of a 132 MW greenfield onshore wind portfolio in Saxony, developed in partnership with 3Energy GmbH. The portfolio benefits from 20-year EEG feed-in tariffs and is designed as an anchor for a broader German renewables platform. The first 14 MW project is expected to begin construction later in 2026.
JUWI GmbH has sold the 25 MW Windpark Gundersweiler 2 in Donnersbergkreis, Rhineland-Palatinate to Diehl Metall Stiftung & Co. KG (Diehl-Gruppe). The four-turbine Vestas V-162 wind farm is currently under construction and is expected to be commissioned in summer 2027. It will generate approximately 70 million kWh annually, sufficient to power around 25,000 households.
Encavis has acquired the 80 MW Vietlübbe onshore wind farm in Landkreis Ludwigslust-Parchim, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany from the UKA Group. The 14-turbine wind farm has been operational since October/November 2025 and is expected to generate approximately 200 GWh annually. The acquisition is Encavis's largest wind energy project in Germany to date.
PNE AG has sold the 25.2 MW Windpark Bokel in Sprakensehl, Lower Saxony, Germany to a Union Investment managed fund. The seven-turbine wind farm has been operational since April 2025 and generates clean electricity for approximately 17,800 households annually. PNE's subsidiary energy consult retains operational management at least until end of 2029.
ENOVA has acquired the project rights for three Nordex N175 wind turbines (21 MW) in Windpark Thüle in Landkreis Cloppenburg, Lower Saxony, from developer Jade Concept and local landowners. Construction is underway and commissioning is planned for autumn 2027. The three ENOVA-owned turbines are expected to generate over 65,000 MWh annually. This is ENOVA's second acquisition from Jade Concept.
European Energy has signed an agreement to divest a 50% stake in the 32.8 MW Zeitz onshore wind project in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany, to the QEEE fund managed by Quadoro and EB-SIM. The six-turbine Nordex project secured an EEG tariff in December 2024, with main construction starting Q2 2026 and commissioning expected between November 2026 and February 2027. European Energy will remain responsible for construction, delivery and asset management.
Triodos Energy Transition Europe Fund has sold its remaining 50% stake in the Midlum wind farm in Lower Saxony, Germany, to existing co-owner Enova Value GmbH. Comprising 70 Enercon turbines with a total capacity of 34.5 MW, Midlum is one of Germany's oldest large-scale wind farms. Triodos has been invested since 2010 and is recycling capital into newer energy transition technologies.
KGAL Investment Management has acquired the 14 MW Rekum wind farm repowering project near Bremen, Germany, from Energiequelle. The project will replace existing Enercon turbines with Nordex machines and benefits from a 20-year EEG feed-in tariff.

Ørsted has signed an agreement with Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners to divest its entire European onshore renewables business for EUR 1.44 billion. The transaction covers onshore wind, solar PV and battery storage assets across Ireland, the UK, Germany and Spain, with closing expected in Q2 2026.
European Energy has sold the 5.56 MW Henglarn onshore wind project in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, to DaVinci Energy. The operational wind asset consists of a single Enercon E-160 turbine operating under an EEG feed-in tariff and supports European Energy’s capital rotation strategy.
Blue Elephant Energy has acquired a 381 MW onshore wind portfolio in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern from WIND-projekt. The portfolio includes operational, under-construction and ready-to-build wind parks and significantly expands Blue Elephant Energy’s presence in the German wind market.
Qualitas Energy has acquired a 91 MW onshore wind portfolio from PNE AG, comprising six projects across Rhineland-Palatinate, Hesse and Brandenburg. The portfolio includes wind farms under construction as well as greenfield developments, reinforcing Qualitas Energy’s expansion in the German renewable energy market.
ENCAVIS has acquired the 34 MW Bebensee onshore wind farm in Schleswig-Holstein from PNE. The operational project consists of five Nordex turbines and benefits from a 20-year EEG feed-in tariff, strengthening ENCAVIS’ German wind portfolio.

Qair has acquired Eno Energy’s French subsidiary (EEF SAS) and a 260 MW wind project pipeline across France, Germany and Belgium, strengthening its European wind portfolio and supporting projects expected to reach Ready-to-Build status by 2026.
Enel has closed the acquisition of a 51 MW portfolio of two operational onshore wind farms in Germany for an enterprise value of approximately €80 million. The assets benefit from a regulated feed-in premium scheme and mark Enel’s first major renewable acquisition in the German market.
