Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CI V) has acquired the Gawara Baya hybrid project in North Queensland, Australia from Windlab, comprising a 408 MW onshore wind farm and 104 MW of grid-forming BESS. Financial close secured with an AUD 1.7 billion facility from 10 banks. Construction is now underway with full operation expected in 2030.

Palisade / Intera Renewables Acquires 240 MW / 960 MWh Summerfield BESS in South Australia from Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners

Palisade Investment Partners has agreed to acquire a 100% interest in the 240 MWac / 960 MWh Summerfield BESS in South Australia from Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners, through its Australian renewable energy platform Intera Renewables. The project is currently under construction and is expected to reach commercial operation in late 2026, underpinned by a long-term tolling agreement with Origin Energy.

Ørsted Divests European Onshore Wind, Solar and BESS Platform to CIP for EUR 1.44 Billion
