This is egg Power's fifth acquisition and its largest solar project to date, bringing its total portfolio to 304 MW of renewable energy projects across the UK. A 20-year offtake agreement is in place for the generated power. The project will support approximately 150 construction jobs and generate an estimated £1.7 million of economic output during the build phase, with approximately £160,000 per year in business rates. This is the second solar project in partnership between egg Power and PS Renewables. egg Power secured £400 million in non-recourse financing from NatWest in January 2026 to fund further acquisitions. egg Power is a wholly-owned part of Liberty Growth, Liberty Global's investment arm.
