Eku Energy has acquired the 300 MW / 600 MWh Didcot BESS project in Oxfordshire, England from TBC Partners. The transmission-connected asset will link to the National Grid via the upgraded Didcot 400 kV substation. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2026, with grid connection targeted for 2028, located near the UK's first AI Growth Zone at Culham.
EDP Renewables (EDPR) has signed a Sale and Purchase Agreement to sell 100% of a 58 MW wind portfolio in Greece to Faria Renewables for an estimated enterprise value of approximately €120 million. The portfolio comprises one 23 MW operational wind farm and one 35 MW wind farm under construction, both backed by 10-year Power Purchase Agreements.
PPC Group has signed an agreement to acquire a 277.3 MW renewables portfolio in Poland from EDP Renewables, comprising 130.5 MW of operational wind, 44.9 MW of operational solar and 101.9 MW of cable pooling solar projects under development. Drax Group plc has completed the £548 million all-cash acquisition of Bluefield Solar Income Fund Limited (BSIF), adding 0.9 GW of operating and under-construction solar and wind assets to its portfolio for the first time, alongside a 2.9 GW gross development pipeline. The deal was announced on 1 June 2026 and completed on 31 July 2026 following shareholder and court approval.
OX2 has completed the sale of the 77 MW Urleasca wind farm in south-east Romania to Scatec ASA. The ready-to-build project features 11 Nordex N175 turbines, holds a 15-year CfD with the Romanian State and is expected to generate approximately 244 GWh annually. Construction is scheduled to begin in Q3 2026 with commissioning planned for H2 2028.
Enel Green Power Italia has signed and finalized the acquisition of 100% of Campo Eolico Ariano (CEA S.r.l.), an 84 MW operational wind farm in the Campania region of Italy, from WEB Ariano S.r.l. (WEB Windenergie AG) for approximately €145 million. The asset generates approximately 0.2 TWh annually and is expected to contribute approximately €16 million per year to Enel's ordinary EBITDA.
Sunprime has acquired 11 fully permitted, ready-to-build solar PV projects totalling approximately 100 MWp in Italy from Starlight, NextEnergy Group's development platform. The transaction is the first building block of Sunprime's Sophocles programme targeting 500 MWp by June 2027, financed by €507 million from EIB and Natixis. Part of the portfolio holds FER-X/CfD incentive contracts.
Ellomay Capital Ltd. has signed an agreement to acquire 100% of a project company holding a 51.75 MW / 207 MWh ready-to-build battery energy storage system in Northern Italy. The transaction marks Ellomay's first battery storage investment in Italy, with revenue stacking across the capacity market, day-ahead and intraday trading and grid stability services. Alcemi has entered the Romanian market through the acquisition of two battery energy storage projects: a 300 MW project in Medgidia (Constanța County) and a 275 MW project in Șura Mare (Sibiu County), both configured as 4-hour systems. The acquisition, made in partnership with local developers Andrei and Emil Pop, marks Alcemi's first investment in Romania.
EDP Renováveis (EDPR) has agreed to sell an 80% common equity stake in a 384 MW solar and BESS portfolio in California to an Ares Infrastructure Equity fund for approximately USD 450 million. The five-turbine Enercon E-138 wind farm was commissioned in autumn 2025 and benefits from a 20-year EEG 2023 feed-in tariff at over €70/MWh.
TerraWind Renewables Inc. has completed the acquisition of a 100% interest in a 25 MW onshore wind project in Fukushima Prefecture, Japan. Construction is scheduled to begin in Q4 2026 with commercial operation targeted for Q1 2029. The acquisition expands TerraWind's Japanese onshore wind portfolio to 376 MW.
Galp has acquired a portfolio of 15 operational onshore wind farms in Spain totalling 361 MW from Acciona Energía for an enterprise value of €420 million. Expected to generate approximately 800 GWh annually, the acquisition brings Galp's total installed renewable capacity to 2.7 GW and wind energy to approximately 30% of its renewable generation mix. The transaction was signed and closed simultaneously with no conditions precedent.
Greenvolt Power has signed an agreement to sell the Kira solar PV park (57.47 MWp) in Királyegyháza, southern Hungary, to PPC Group for €64.2 million. Fully operational since July 2024 and backed by a 25-year KÁT feed-in-tariff, the deal also gives PPC an option on a co-located 49.1 MW / 196.2 MWh BESS project. Closing is expected by end of 2026.
Forsa Energy has acquired two operational onshore wind farms — Burton Wold (20.5 MW, Northamptonshire) and Winscales Moor (6 MW, Cumbria) — with a combined capacity of approximately 26.5 MW from GCP Infrastructure Investments Limited. The transaction marks Forsa's first renewable wind acquisition as part of its diversification strategy, bringing its total UK IPP portfolio to 324.5 MW.
egg Power, Liberty Global's clean energy business, has acquired the 72 MW Pilmoor Solar Farm in North Yorkshire from PS Renewables, its fifth and largest solar acquisition to date. Nofar USA has acquired a 400 MWh battery energy storage project on a brownfield site in the United States, with a grid interconnection agreement in place and a 15-year offtake agreement being finalised. Total project cost is approximately $230 million, with construction expected within 12 months and commercial operation planned by end of 2028.
Delta Capacity and Strioga Family Foundation have signed an agreement to jointly acquire the Karppio BESS project in Teuva, Finland from Helios Nordic Energy. The 125 MW / 300 MWh ready-to-build project is expected to reach commercial operation in 2027, adding to Delta Capacity's growing Nordic battery storage portfolio which already includes the 70 MW / 160 MWh Ånge BESS in Sweden.
ClearGen Holdings has acquired a 19 MW portfolio of 10 operating commercial and industrial behind-the-meter solar projects across California, Colorado, Florida, Massachusetts and New Jersey from affiliates of Tortoise Capital Advisors. ClearGen will assume 100% ownership and asset management responsibilities for the portfolio, in line with its strategy as a long-term distributed energy infrastructure investor backed by CBRE Investment Management.
JERA Nex bp has completed the acquisition of Sumitomo Corporation's stakes in two Belgian offshore wind farms: a 30% stake in Northwester 2 (219 MW, commissioned 2020), bringing JERA Nex bp to 100% ownership, and a 39.02% stake in Nobelwind (165 MW, commissioned 2017), bringing its total to 80.1%. JERA Nex bp develops, constructs and operates both assets from its Ostend hub.
EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG has signed an agreement to sell its Swedish renewable energy platform, EnBW Sverige AB, to Eurowind Energy A/S. The transaction includes approximately 120 MW of operational onshore wind farms and a significant development pipeline. Closing is expected in Q3 2026. EnBW previously sold its Danish renewables activities to Eurowind Energy earlier in 2026.
Soregies Group has acquired the 11.3 MW La Saulaie wind farm project in Coron, Maine-et-Loire, France — its 22nd wind farm and first in the department. Equipped with three 3.8 MW turbines, the project is expected to generate approximately 23.7 GWh annually, with commissioning scheduled for Q3 2027. The acquisition supports Soregies' goal of 100% renewable supply to customers by 2030.
Vestas Development A/S has acquired the St Patricks Plains Wind Farm project in the Central Highlands of Tasmania, Australia from Ark Energy. Vestas is progressing through consent conditions, geotechnical engineering and detailed design ahead of construction. Ark Energy developed the project over approximately eight years through planning and approvals.
