Delta Capacity and Strioga Family Foundation Acquire 125 MW / 300 MWh Karppio BESS Project in Teuva, Finland

Delta Capacity and Strioga Family Foundation have signed an agreement to jointly acquire the Karppio BESS project in Teuva, Finland from Helios Nordic Energy. The 125 MW / 300 MWh ready-to-build project is expected to reach commercial operation in 2027, adding to Delta Capacity's growing Nordic battery storage portfolio which already includes the 70 MW / 160 MWh Ånge BESS in Sweden.

Technology details

125 MW / 300 MWh battery energy storage system with a 2-hour duration. Acquired at ready-to-build stage. Delta Capacity will lead remaining development through to commissioning, planned for 2027.
