Fu-Gen Sells 100 MW Kärppiö Ready-to-Build BESS Project in Teuva, Finland to Nala Renewables
Fu-Gen has closed on the sale of the 100 MW Kärppiö ready-to-build BESS project in Teuva municipality, South Ostrobothnia, Finland to Nala Renewables. The transaction is the third under a framework agreement between the two parties, bringing Nala's Finnish BESS pipeline to 275 MW / 550 MWh. Construction is expected to begin later in 2026.

Additional information
This is the third ready-to-build BESS project delivered by Fu-Gen to Nala Renewables, following previous transactions for the 50 MW Kauhava and 125 MW Vuolijoki projects in 2025 and 2026. The Kärppiö acquisition brings Nala's Finnish BESS pipeline to 275 MW / 550 MWh. Fu-Gen is also developing data centre sites alongside wind projects under a 'bring your own power' model for digital infrastructure clients.
