Financial close secured with an AUD 1.7 billion facility from 10 banks. Construction is now underway with full operation expected in 2030.
Vattenfall has acquired the permitted 43 MW Dittelsheim-Heßloch wind project in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany from ABO Energy. Together with Vattenfall's adjacent Mettenheim project, the two wind parks will form a combined cluster of up to 70 MW sharing a common grid connection substation in the Rheinhessen region.
Westbridge Renewable Energy has signed a definitive agreement to sell the Red Willow solar-plus-storage project (up to 225 MWac solar + 100 MW BESS) in Stettler County, Alberta, Canada for total consideration of up to CAD $26.725 million. The project holds AUC approval and an AESO interconnection position. Transaction is subject to regulatory approval.
Perigus Energy Deutschland GmbH has acquired the project rights for the permitted Windpark Olpe-Rehringhausen (three 7 MW turbines, 21 MW total) from ABO Energy. Located in Kreis Olpe, North Rhine-Westphalia, the project received its construction and operation permit on 26 March 2026 and is approximately 3 km from Perigus Energy's Windpark Windfart development.
Alpiq has acquired the Bollingstedt battery storage project from ECO STOR's project company ECO POWER ONE GmbH. Operational since June 2025 and operating under one of Germany's first Flexible Connection Agreements, the project is one of Germany's most advanced large-scale BESS facilities. ECO STOR retains technical and operational management post-transaction.
Gore Street Capital's GS EU Fund has completed the acquisition of two ready-to-build BESS projects in the Republic of Ireland from Gore Street Energy Storage Fund: Kilmannock (120 MW / 240 MWh) and Mucklagh (75 MW / 150 MWh), totalling 195 MW / 390 MWh. Both projects have secured grid connections and planning permissions, with CODs expected in Q1–Q2 2028. PowerBank Corporation has reacquired the Highway 28 (6.9 MW) and Gainesville (7 MW) community solar projects in New York State through its subsidiary Abundant Solar Power Inc. for a combined purchase price of approximately USD 2.4 million. The projects have a combined construction value of USD 32.5 million and expected US federal tax credits of USD 13 million, with construction readiness targeted for 2026 and 2027 respectively.
MEAG has completed the sale of its minority stake in the Horse Creek and Electra onshore wind farms in Texas (combined 460 MW, operational since 2016) to Ardian, an existing long-term partner in the assets. All assets are immediately cash generative and backed by long-term Capacity Market contracts, bringing NEUK I's total standalone BESS capacity to 165 MW.
Funds managed by Triple Point have acquired the 49.2 MW Hessay Solar project in York from Recurrent Energy (Canadian Solar). The project is under construction with grid connection targeted for H2 2027 and is backed by a 15-year inflation-indexed CfD secured in the UK's Sixth Allocation Round (AR6). It will generate enough electricity to power approximately 14,100 homes annually.
Sosteneo SGR, part of Generali Investments, has signed an agreement to acquire a majority stake in ENOVA Generation, a new platform comprising 11 onshore wind repowering projects totalling 350 MW in Germany, sold by ENOVA Value (Omnes Capital and ENOVA Power).
