Alpiq Acquires Bollingstedt Operational Battery Storage Project in Schleswig-Holstein from ECO STOR

Alpiq has acquired the Bollingstedt battery storage project from ECO STOR's project company ECO POWER ONE GmbH. Operational since June 2025 and operating under one of Germany's first Flexible Connection Agreements, the project is one of Germany's most advanced large-scale BESS facilities. ECO STOR retains technical and operational management post-transaction.

The transaction builds on an existing cooperation between Alpiq and ECO STOR, including a tolling agreement for the Schuby battery storage project announced in late 2025.
