green flexibility has acquired a portfolio of large-scale battery energy storage projects totalling approximately 750 MW / 3 GWh from developer Kajoni in Germany. The projects are participating in the German Reifegradverfahren for high-voltage grid connections. Kajoni will continue developing the projects to Ready-to-Build status, after which green flexibility will lead realisation and long-term operation.

Technology details
Portfolio of large-scale battery energy storage projects with approximately 750 MW of power capacity and approximately 3 GWh of storage capacity. Projects are participating in the current round of Germany's Reifegradverfahren (maturity assessment process) for high-voltage grid connections. Kajoni will continue developing the projects to Ready-to-Build (RTB) status following a potential grid connection approval from the transmission system operator. green flexibility will then take over realisation, operations and marketing.
