green flexibility has acquired a portfolio of large-scale battery energy storage projects totalling approximately 750 MW / 3 GWh from developer Kajoni in Germany. The projects are participating in the German Reifegradverfahren for high-voltage grid connections. Kajoni will continue developing the projects to Ready-to-Build status, after which green flexibility will lead realisation and long-term operation.
Eku Energy has entered the German market with the acquisition of the Dion battery storage project in Lamspringe, Lower Saxony, from developer NION. The 400 MW / 1,600 MWh project, directly connected to the transmission grid with grid-forming and black-start capability, is one of the largest BESS developments in Germany. Commissioning is planned for end of 2029, with NION continuing development to financial close.
ENGIE Zielona Energia has acquired the special purpose vehicle developing the Tursko Wielki battery storage project in Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, Poland, from R.Power. The 250 MW / 1,000 MWh project has reached ready-to-build status and will connect directly to the Połaniec power station. Construction is expected to begin in early 2027, with commissioning targeted for Q4 2028.
Unimot Renewables has acquired 100% of the SPV implementing the Gostynin wind farm project in the Masovian Voivodeship, Poland, with a planned capacity of 34.2 MW across nine turbines. This marks the first project in Unimot Group's new IPP platform, with completion scheduled for H1 2028. Energy contracting will be managed by sister company Unimot Energia i Gaz.
Vivant Renewable Energy Corporation, part of Philippine conglomerate Vivant Corporation, has acquired Samar Philippines Renewable Corporation, holder of a 200 MW wind project across Lavezares, Allen, Victoria and Rosario in Northern Samar, from Envision Energy Philippines. Innagreen Investments has completed the acquisition of the consented 49.9 MW Longhedge solar farm in Nottinghamshire, England from RES. Expected to power around 15,000 homes annually, the project includes biodiversity net gain measures such as new hedgerows and public bridleways. This marks Innagreen's fourth collaboration with RES, following January's acquisition of the Dunbeg South Wind Farm.
ContourGlobal has entered the UK market through the acquisition of Wallace, a 500 MW / 2,000 MWh battery energy storage project in Ayr, Scotland, from New Energy Partnership Limited and other sellers. NOVVA Group has signed a definitive agreement to acquire 100% of the San Jose Solar Power Plant, a 120 MWp greenfield solar project in Bukidnon, Mindanao, Philippines, from Mabuhay Power Holdings Corporation. Wallenstam has signed an agreement to sell all of its wind farms in Sweden — comprising 53 turbines with a total capacity of 112 MW — to Locus Energy, owned by SEB's Nordic Energy Article 9 fund, for SEK 830 million. SOWITEC group GmbH has sold the 14.4 MW Windpark Creußen III repowering project in Landkreis Bayreuth, Bavaria, to Stadtwerke Stuttgart. The deal is Inox Clean's tenth acquisition in ten months and will bring its near-operational portfolio to approximately 4 GW.
Emergy has completed the sale of the 168 MW Alibunar wind project in Serbia — comprising Alibunar Windfarm A and B — to Heavy Energy International. Developed by Emergy and WV International, the construction-ready project is one of Serbia's largest renewable energy developments. The buyer is expected to commence construction in the near term.
