ENGIE Zielona Energia Acquires 250 MW / 1,000 MWh Tursko Wielki BESS Project in Poland from R.Power
ENGIE Zielona Energia has acquired the special purpose vehicle developing the Tursko Wielki battery storage project in Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, Poland, from R.Power. The 250 MW / 1,000 MWh project has reached ready-to-build status and will connect directly to the Połaniec power station. Construction is expected to begin in early 2027, with commissioning targeted for Q4 2028.
