Actis Acquires 244 MW / 1,141 MWh BESS Portfolio in Poland from DRI — Kozienice and Trzebinia Projects

Actis has acquired a 244 MW / 1,141 MWh BESS portfolio in Poland from DRI, comprising a 112 MW / 518 MWh project in Kozienice and a 132 MW / 623 MWh project in Trzebinia. Both assets hold 17-year inflation-indexed capacity market contracts and will be among Poland's first utility-scale BESS projects to reach commercial operation. The deal builds on Actis' July 2026 acquisition of Klara Renewables.

Additional information

Transaction builds on Actis' July 2026 acquisition of Klara Renewables (171 MW onshore wind, ~275 MW hybridisation potential) in Poland. Together these assets advance Actis' 1.5 GW wind, solar and BESS target for its Polish/CEE platform. Actis has committed more than USD 1.1 billion across three platforms in Central and Eastern Europe. These projects will be among the first utility-scale BESS assets to reach commercial operation in Poland.
