OX2 Acquires 200 MW / 800 MWh BESS Portfolio in Apulia, Italy from Hanwha Energy Europe
OX2 has acquired two standalone battery energy storage system projects of 100 MW / 400 MWh each in Apulia, southern Italy from Hanwha Energy Europe, totalling 200 MW / 800 MWh. Construction is expected to begin in Q2 2027 with commissioning targeted for late 2028. The acquisition adds to OX2's 1.5 GW Italian development portfolio.
