ABO Energy has completed the sale of the 36.4 MWc Les Hauts du Serein solar PV project in Châtel-Gérard, Yonne, France to Urbasolar. The ready-to-build agri-compatible project holds a building permit, grid connection authorisation and a CRE complement de rémunération tariff. Urbasolar will manage construction and operations, with commissioning expected by end of 2028.

Technology details
36.4 MWc ground-mounted solar PV project covering approximately 38 hectares, with more than 56,000 photovoltaic modules. Building permit obtained in 2024; grid connection authorisation secured. Urbasolar will be responsible for construction and operations. Commissioning expected by end of 2028. Agri-compatible design with co-located sheep farming activity in partnership with a neighbouring agricultural operation (over 200 sheep on site). Project developed by ABO Energy since 2020.
Power purchase agreement (PPA)
Project benefits from a complement de rémunération tariff attributed by the Commission de régulation de l'énergie (CRE), providing a guaranteed revenue top-up for electricity generated.
