Energiequelle GmbH has sold its French subsidiary Energiequelle SAS to French renewable energy developer H2air. The transaction includes all employees and a wind and solar portfolio of approximately 500 MW, comprising 60 MW of operational assets and a significant advanced-development pipeline. Energiequelle SAS has developed over 27 wind and solar parks in France since 2010, totalling 266 MW.
Econergy has acquired French onshore wind platform Escofi for €134.3 million, gaining a 740 MW portfolio including 128 MW operational, 34 MW under construction and 147 MW in advanced development. More than 90% of operational and under-construction capacity benefits from 20-year French CfD contracts. The deal marks Econergy's entry into France.
Soregies Group has acquired the 11.3 MW La Saulaie wind farm project in Coron, Maine-et-Loire, France — its 22nd wind farm and first in the department. Equipped with three 3.8 MW turbines, the project is expected to generate approximately 23.7 GWh annually, with commissioning scheduled for Q3 2027. The acquisition supports Soregies' goal of 100% renewable supply to customers by 2030.
ABO Energy has completed the sale of the 36.4 MWc Les Hauts du Serein solar PV project in Châtel-Gérard, Yonne, France to Urbasolar. The ready-to-build agri-compatible project holds a building permit, grid connection authorisation and a CRE complement de rémunération tariff. Urbasolar will manage construction and operations, with commissioning expected by end of 2028.
PNE France has completed the sale of the 10.8 MW Romescamps wind farm project in Hauts-de-France, France to JP Energie Environnement (JPEE). Developed to ready-to-build status, the three-turbine project marks PNE and JPEE's second transaction together in France. PNE France will provide further development support post-closing under a Project Development Agreement.
Velto Renewables has completed the acquisition of the 11 MW L'Escur Wind Farm in Murat-sur-Vèbre, Tarn, France from Q ENERGY. The five-turbine Vestas V90 wind farm generates 39.5 GWh annually and becomes Velto's second onshore wind asset. The transaction is part of a broader partnership framework between Velto and Q ENERGY covering five projects totalling approximately 130 MW in France.
Axium Infrastructure Europe has acquired a 49.9% equity interest in a 174.2 MW operational onshore wind portfolio in France from Banque des Territoires (Caisse des Dépôts). The portfolio comprises 22 wind projects across Hauts-de-France, Nouvelle-Aquitaine and Grand Est, supported by French government FiT and CfD contracts. ENGIE Green retains the remaining 50.1% stake. This marks Axium's first renewable energy transaction in Europe.
Q ENERGY, a subsidiary of Korea's Hanwha Group, has entered as a shareholder in Pennavel, the project company developing a floating offshore wind farm off the south coast of Brittany, France. Q ENERGY joins existing shareholders Elicio France and BayWa r.e. France, bringing over 20 years of French offshore wind expertise including the 496 MW Ailes Marines project in Saint-Brieuc Bay. Stake size and capacity not disclosed.
Iberdrola France has completed the sale of its entire onshore portfolio to French renewable energy group Technique Solaire. The transaction includes 118 MW of operational onshore wind capacity and a development pipeline of 639 MW of onshore wind and solar PV. The deal is part of Iberdrola Group's strategy to focus on regulated networks and long-term contract generation in core markets.
ABO Energy has completed the sale of three solar parks in France with a combined capacity of 85 MWp. Two projects in Loiret were sold turnkey to Tenergie and one project to CVE, all secured by Contracts for Difference and supporting France’s renewable energy expansion.
Alpiq has acquired the 100 MW / 200 MWh Cheviré battery energy storage system from Harmony Energy at the Port of Nantes Saint-Nazaire. Commissioned in December 2025, the asset is currently the largest operational BESS in France and strengthens Alpiq’s European flexibility portfolio.

Qair has acquired Eno Energy’s French subsidiary (EEF SAS) and a 260 MW wind project pipeline across France, Germany and Belgium, strengthening its European wind portfolio and supporting projects expected to reach Ready-to-Build status by 2026.
BayWa r.e. has completed the sale of two French solar projects totaling 44 MWp to Heling enr, combining Agri-PV and land revitalisation, with commissioning planned for 2026.
