Alight has acquired a portfolio of 40 large-scale solar development projects totalling approximately 2 GW from Soltech Energy Solutions in southern Sweden (SE3 and SE4). Most sites include battery storage options. The acquisition brings Alight's Nordic solar and storage pipeline to over 5 GW. Transaction approved by Sweden's ISP.
AIP Management has acquired the 71 MW Aldermyrberget operational onshore wind farm in northern Sweden as part of its Project Winter Nordic renewables strategy. Operational since 2020 with current-generation turbines under long-term service agreements, the asset is the first of a 312 MW portfolio of Nordic operating wind assets.
Eurowind Energy has completed the acquisition of EnBW's Swedish renewable energy platform, including approximately 120 MW of operating onshore wind assets, a renewable energy development portfolio and an O&M business. The transaction was originally announced on 13 July 2026 and received Swedish FDI approval before closing on 3 September 2026.
EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG has signed an agreement to sell its Swedish renewable energy platform, EnBW Sverige AB, to Eurowind Energy A/S. The transaction includes approximately 120 MW of operational onshore wind farms and a significant development pipeline. Closing is expected in Q3 2026. EnBW previously sold its Danish renewables activities to Eurowind Energy earlier in 2026.
Wallenstam has signed an agreement to sell all of its wind farms in Sweden — comprising 53 turbines with a total capacity of 112 MW — to Locus Energy, owned by SEB's Nordic Energy Article 9 fund, for SEK 830 million. In connection with the sale, Wallenstam secured a renewable energy supply agreement with Locus Energy for its property portfolio.
Hexicon AB has agreed to acquire the remaining 50% stake in Mareld Green Energy AB from Mainstream Renewable Power, becoming sole owner of the Mareld floating offshore wind project in Western Sweden. With potential annual generation of up to 12 TWh, Mareld is one of Sweden's largest prospective offshore wind projects. A government decision on the SEZ permit is pending.
RWE has signed an agreement to sell its Swedish wind activities to Nordic renewables company Aneo. The transaction includes 124 MW of operational onshore wind, the 48 MW Karehamn offshore wind farm and a 1.8 GW onshore development pipeline, with closing expected in Q1 2026.
ERG has sold the 62 MW Furuby onshore wind farm in Sweden to Nordetic AB, part of the eNordic Group owned by Ardian, for an enterprise value of €71 million. The operational wind asset has been in service since 2022 and generated 134 GWh in 2024.
Alight has acquired the 11 MW Ramsjöholm solar PV park in Falkenberg municipality, Sweden from Soltech Energy Solutions. Commissioned in September 2024, this marks Alight's first acquisition of an already operational solar project, expanding its operating portfolio in the Nordic region.
