ENKA Energy Transition, backed by White Summit Capital's Decarbonisation Infrastructure Fund II, has acquired a 50 MW / 150 MWh ready-to-build battery energy storage project in Grenaa, Eastern Jutland, Denmark from BattMan Energy. Upon commissioning in Q1 2028, it will be the largest battery storage facility in Eastern Jutland. BattMan Energy will provide EPCm services and a multi-year asset management agreement.
Alight has acquired a 79 MWp solar park with a co-located 55 MW BESS in Kalundborg, Sjælland, Denmark from GreenGo Energy. Covering 90 hectares and expected to produce 95 GWh annually, the project is Alight's first integrated solar-plus-storage development in Denmark. GreenGo Energy will continue as development partner through to ready-to-build status, expected in 2028.
Danish developer Ænergy has sold Solar Park Nagbøl, a 53.55 MWp solar PV and 36 MW / 72 MWh BESS hybrid project in Denmark, to Norwegian investor Endra (owned by Haugeland Kraft) with a majority stake and Jysk Energi with a minority stake. The fully permitted, ready-to-build project covers 96 hectares and is expected to begin production in Q2 2027.
SUSI Partners has agreed to sell an 89 MW onshore wind portfolio in Denmark to NRGi Renewables, completing the full lifecycle and final exit of the SUSI Renewable Energy Fund II.
Eurowind Energy has strengthened its European renewable portfolio by acquiring a stake in the Ausumgaard biogas and wind energy park in Denmark and purchasing operating wind assets plus a 370 MW wind and solar development portfolio in Poland from Sabowind.
