Technology details
79 MWp utility-scale solar park with a co-located 55 MW battery energy storage system (BESS), covering 90 hectares. Expected to produce approximately 95 GWh annually. Solar and BESS share the same grid connection, enabling time-shifting of energy output. Land lease agreement secured; zoning and environmental permitting process underway. Ready-to-build status expected in 2028. GreenGo Energy will continue as development partner through to ready-to-build stage.
Power purchase agreement (PPA)
Project will be developed for long-term PPAs with commercial and industrial customers at a fixed, low price. Alight will own and operate the assets and sell electricity directly to C&I offtakers.
Additional information
This is Alight's first integrated solar-plus-storage project in Denmark and its first collaboration with GreenGo Energy. Project is located in the DK2 price zone. Alight and GreenGo will jointly develop the project to ready-to-build stage. In 2025, Alight acquired a 215 MWp solar park in Lolland from European Energy, now the second-largest solar park in Denmark and the Nordics. Alight targets at least 5 GW of installed capacity by 2030.
