European Energy has completed the divestment of the Jonava hybrid renewable energy project in Lithuania to Energix – Renewable Energies. The 470 MW project combines approximately 140 MW of onshore wind, 330 MWp of solar PV and 320 MWh of BESS storage. Construction is expected to begin shortly, with full commercial operation targeted for 2027.
Aquila Clean Energy has completed the sale of a 50 MW / 100 MWh ready-to-build battery energy storage project in Lithuania to Energy Gates. The two-hour duration BESS asset will support grid flexibility, renewable integration and long-term energy security in the Baltic region.
