ABO Energy has agreed to sell its Polish and Hungarian subsidiaries to PPC Group, including five operational solar parks totalling 82 MW, one 17 MW solar park near commissioning, a ~2 GW development pipeline and 38 employees. The transaction is subject to regulatory approval and is expected to close by end of 2026, as part of ABO Energy's broader restructuring strategy.
Greenvolt Power has signed an agreement to sell the Kira solar PV park (57.47 MWp) in Királyegyháza, southern Hungary, to PPC Group for €64.2 million. Fully operational since July 2024 and backed by a 25-year KÁT feed-in-tariff, the deal also gives PPC an option on a co-located 49.1 MW / 196.2 MWh BESS project. Closing is expected by end of 2026.
Iberdrola has completed the sale of its Hungarian renewable energy business, including 158 MW of operational onshore wind capacity, to a consortium led by Premier Energy and iG TECH Capital for a total value of €171 million. The transaction marks Iberdrola’s exit from the Hungarian market.
