Anza Power has acquired two consented, construction-ready solar farms in New Zealand from Helios Energy Limited: Karioi (110 MWac) in the Ruapehu region and Ongaonga (95 MWac) in Hawke's Bay, totalling 205 MWac. The combined projects are expected to generate approximately 411,400 MWh annually, powering around 58,000 New Zealand homes.
Palisade Investment Partners has acquired, through Intera Renewables, two development-stage renewable energy projects in Australia: Monogorilby (up to 600 MW wind + 400 MWac / 1,600 MWh BESS in Queensland) from LP Renewable Projects, and Winton WRESST (400 MWac / 1,600 MWh grid-forming BESS in Victoria) from Celero Infrastructure. Both projects were acquired partway through development.
Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CI V) has acquired the Gawara Baya hybrid project in North Queensland, Australia from Windlab, comprising a 408 MW onshore wind farm and 104 MW of grid-forming BESS. Financial close secured with an AUD 1.7 billion facility from 10 banks. Construction is now underway with full operation expected in 2030.
BW ESS has acquired the 250 MW / 1,000 MWh Yanco BESS project in Riverina, New South Wales from ACEnergy. The ready-to-build project connects to the Yanco 132 kV substation with CATL as System Integrator and ACLE Services as BoP contractor. Construction commences later in 2026, with commercial operation planned for 2028, underpinned by a long-term capacity swap.
