Palisade / Intera Renewables Acquires 600 MW Monogorilby Wind and BESS Project in Queensland and 400 MW Winton BESS in Victoria

Palisade Investment Partners has acquired, through Intera Renewables, two development-stage renewable energy projects in Australia: Monogorilby (up to 600 MW wind + 400 MWac / 1,600 MWh BESS in Queensland) from LP Renewable Projects, and Winton WRESST (400 MWac / 1,600 MWh grid-forming BESS in Victoria) from Celero Infrastructure. Both projects were acquired partway through development.

Technology details

Two development-stage projects: (1) Monogorilby Renewable Energy Park (MREP): up to 600 MW of wind generation co-located with a 400 MWac / 1,600 MWh BESS, originated by LPRP in late 2022; (2) Winton Renewable Energy Storage and Stability Terminal (WRESST): 400 MWac / 1,600 MWh grid-forming BESS adjacent to Glenrowan Terminal Station, with development application lodged in June 2026. Both acquired partway through development. LPRP and Celero will continue providing development services to financial close; PIMS will then provide asset management.

Additional information

Acquisitions completed through Intera Renewables, Palisade's Australian renewable energy platform. Palisade was advised by DLA Piper and Ekistica. Intera is co-invested by Palisade's PREF and PDIF funds, Aware Super and HESTA. Palisade's total renewable portfolio (operating and in-construction) reaches 2.5 GW on a 100% ownership basis. Capacity stated (1,000 MW) refers to wind only; combined BESS capacity is 800 MWac / 3,200 MWh across both projects.
