Technology details
Onshore wind project consisting of 10 wind turbines with a total installed capacity of 60 MW. The project completed the permitting process and received its electricity production license in December 2025.
Additional information
The Demirli Wind Energy Project was submitted by RES as part of the 2017 Turkish wind capacity tenders. Once operational, the project is expected to avoid approximately 80,000 tonnes of CO2-equivalent emissions and contribute nearly USD 45 million to the public sector over its lifetime, including contribution and grid fees. The transaction supports Türkiye’s objectives to reduce energy imports and expand domestic renewable energy generation.
