KPI Green Energy has agreed to acquire 507.9 MW of operational wind assets in Gujarat, India from Saudi Arabia-based Alfanar Group for an enterprise value of approximately Rs 2,410 crore. The portfolio comprises 301.4 MW held by Alfanar Energy and 206.5 MW by Netra Wind, both backed by long-term SECI PPAs with approximately 21 years remaining. The transaction is expected to close by 28 February 2027.
Blueleaf Energy has completed the acquisition of a 40 MW operational wind farm in Belgavi District, Karnataka, India. The asset has an eight-year operating track record and complements Blueleaf's existing 1.5 GW greenfield portfolio across India.
TerraWind Renewables Inc. has completed the acquisition of a 100% interest in a 25 MW onshore wind project in Fukushima Prefecture, Japan. Construction is scheduled to begin in Q4 2026 with commercial operation targeted for Q1 2029. The acquisition expands TerraWind's Japanese onshore wind portfolio to 376 MW.
ACEN Corp. has agreed to sell up to a 49% stake in Diyos Renewables India Project Private Ltd., which is developing a 100 MW wind project in Karnataka, India, to Diamond India Renewables One B.V. (DIRO). This is the second India transaction between ACEN and DIRO, following a similar deal for a 250 MW solar project in Rajasthan announced in June 2026.
Vivant Renewable Energy Corporation, part of Philippine conglomerate Vivant Corporation, has acquired Samar Philippines Renewable Corporation, holder of a 200 MW wind project across Lavezares, Allen, Victoria and Rosario in Northern Samar, from Envision Energy Philippines. Expected to generate 695 GWh annually, the project targets commissioning by end of 2028, with 36% of capacity backed by a GEA-4 auction contract.
Inox Clean Energy has signed a definitive agreement to acquire 100% of Vena Energy India from Vena Group, comprising approximately 1 GW of operational capacity, 1.7 GW of advanced-stage solar and wind assets plus 1.2 GWh BESS, and a 2.7 GW development pipeline plus 1.3 GWh BESS. The deal is Inox Clean's tenth acquisition in ten months and will bring its near-operational portfolio to approximately 4 GW.
RES has completed the sale of the 66 MW Topaz Wind Energy Project in the Alaca and Aydıncık districts of Çorum and Yozgat provinces, Türkiye to Reges Elektrik. The project was awarded under a 2017 TEİAŞ tender and obtained its production licence in March 2026. Once operational, it is expected to prevent approximately 80,000 tonnes of CO₂ emissions annually.
Chugoku Electric Power Co Ltd and Toda Corp have acquired an undisclosed equity stake in the 54 MW Masuda-Hikimi Wind Power Project in Shimane Prefecture, Japan, from Mitsui OSK Lines and Hokutaku. The project features 13 wind turbines of 4.2 MW each and is developed through SPC Asia Wind Power. Construction is set to begin shortly, with operations scheduled for January 2030.
Levanta Renewables, Actis' pan-Southeast Asia renewable energy platform, has acquired an 80% stake in a fully operational 50 MW onshore wind project in Gia Lai Province, Vietnam. The asset generates over 150 GWh annually and sells power to state-owned Vietnam Electricity (EVN) under long-term PPAs. The transaction is Levanta's fifth regional acquisition, bringing its total operating capacity to approximately 400 MW.
