Eolus Sells 127 MW / 506 MWh Roccasecca BESS Project in Boulder City, Nevada for ~$67 Million
Eolus has completed the all-cash sale of the Roccasecca standalone BESS project (127 MW / 506 MWh) in Boulder City, Nevada to a large undisclosed US IPP for approximately USD 66.9 million. The project is currently under construction and is expected to reach commercial operation in 2026. The deal includes a 15-year tolling agreement and marks Eolus's fifth US project sale.

Technology details
127 MW / 506 MWh standalone battery energy storage system (BESS). Construction began in Q4 2025 following an Eolus board investment decision in mid-2025. Commercial operation expected in 2026. Transaction includes a 15-year tolling agreement, equipment supply agreements and project finance agreements negotiated by Eolus. Buyer assumes construction management and will continue buildout until completion.
