Frontier Power USA Acquires 480 MWh Long-Duration BESS Portfolio in ERCOT Texas from Bimergen Energy
Frontier Power USA (FPUSA), owned by Cerberus Capital Management, has signed an agreement to acquire a 480 MWh portfolio of three ERCOT-based long-duration BESS projects from Bimergen Energy Corporation. The projects will use Eos Energy's Z3 long-duration battery systems under a 2 GWh capacity reservation agreement. FPUSA will hold a 92.5% stake while Bimergen retains 7.5%.

Portfolio of three ERCOT-based BESS projects with a combined capacity of 480 MWh, including two 'Texas 10' projects and one 100 MW / 400 MWh project. NTP expected for the 100 MW / 400 MWh project in mid-2026. Projects will utilise Eos Energy's American-made Z3 long-duration battery systems under a 2 GWh capacity reservation agreement between FPUSA and Eos Energy Enterprises (NASDAQ: EOSE).

FPUSA will hold a 92.5% ownership interest; Bimergen retains a 7.5% economic interest. FPUSA's affiliate will fund 100% of equity required for construction and pay Bimergen a development fee.
